This product comes shipped via USPS (US only). It includes a color printed pattern envelope with enclosed TYVEK templates and detailed assembly instructions to create a birdhouse (there are two height options - 8” and 9”). The lid is easily removable for cleaning after fledglings have left the nest. The design also includes drainage holes, an optional awning, ventilation holes under the pitch of the roof, and a triangular slot for easy hanging.
This B0001 template’s HxWxD, hole height, opening diameter, etc, was designed to fit the needs of specific birds native to my region - the Northeastern US- chickadees, nuthatches, titmice, and bluebirds. The 8” pitch height is good for chickadees, nuthatches and titmice while the 9” pitch height is good for bluebirds.
