“What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?”
In the fall of 2022, I gave myself permission to spend an entire month developing new templates for forms other than pottery. Since having kids, I’ve been inspired by the nursery room, a room that exudes hope and joy, common themes in my work. Like my pots, I wanted to figure out how to make animal forms in clay that would look/act like stuffed fabric. Here is a sampling of that work.
